PRS至1985創立以來，是年代最年輕的吉他廠牌，也是全球前三名的吉他製造商之一，現已成為吉他界的傳奇，而創辦人Paul Reed Smith將追求吉他製造工藝為他畢生的夢想呈現在每一支PRS上。Custom24是1985年創廠時就推出的型號，而這個系列一直到現在都是PRS最受歡迎的經典型號，不只音色上細膩、出眾，外觀也相當華麗，而在當時年的PRS工廠內，只有45名的員工在生產線生產這些PRS吉他。
特選的虎紋楓木，紋路非常自然又明顯，搭配當年最知名的Vintage Yellow配色，琴身為特選的桃花心木，巴西玫瑰木指板，原廠配置一組PRS早期的Standard Humbuckers拾音器，透過琴身上的轉鈕提供五段音色，清甜顆粒感十足的單線圈音色到出力突出的雙線圈破音都能勝任，當然也有著80年代PRS特有的Sweet Switch，可以使原本擁有Vintage Tone的音色更加的有侵略性。三十三年的琴，整體九成五新，琴頭與琴身有幾處如圖的小敲痕，無明顯大傷痕，狀況非常好，保存的相當不可思議。1985至1989年的PRS Custom24目前在市面上的價格約二十至三十萬台幣起跳，狀況保存越好價格越高，把握收藏機會。

1989 PRS Custom24 with Brazilian Rosewood-Vintage Yellow. Incredible Top! It with a brazilian rosewood board, original standard humbuckers pickups, 5 ways pickup control with sweet switch. The guitar was rarely played and in excellent condition, with only minimal dings and scratches, details in the pictures.
