1999年Gibson為紀念1959 Les Paul Burst登場四十週年製作的限量紀念琴，搭配至少5A的超級虎紋，紋路非常粗，這是連90年代的R9都很少見的紋路。琴頸為早期的'59 Neck Profile，原廠搭配一組'57 Pickups。整體九成新，正常使用痕跡與小傷痕，琴身透明漆有些許自然產生的Aged Checking，相當有味道。1999年的40th Anniversary在市面上相當少見，紋路漂亮又粗的更是稀有，收藏價值非常高。
