2019年Gibson Custom全新推出的新款六十週年紀念版，配色為非常經典的Vintage Cherry Sunburst，模仿1959年當年出廠未褪色的Les Paul Standard原始配色，而木頭重量選在3.8KG左右，音色也會來得比普通版本更好。這款六十週年紀念版R9是被原廠譽為Gibson最好、最復古的Les Paul Standard Reissue，且在市場上的評價相當高。新款的Les Paul Reissue加入了多年來研究Collector's Choice與True Historic系列的成果，從3D掃描的Top弧度以及琴頸規格和利用化學重建的塑膠料件，當然也包含了近年來一直使用的Hide Glue，而在今年原廠將電容改為了Luxe的全新手工大黃蜂，而這些細節都確實影響了吉他的音色，包括了全新的色漆，都盡可能接近真正的50年的Les Paul，而VOS版本的金屬與漆面輕微舊化使得這支琴更加的復古。桃花心木琴身、Indian Rosewood指板，搭配一組Custombucker Alnico III拾音器，而這組拾音器為Unpotted，沒有浸蠟處理過的，原廠認為這樣配上全新的復古線路能擁有更加接近經典PAF音色元素。全新展示琴，除了如圖琴身邊緣一處非常不明顯的原廠瑕疵以外，其餘整體近全新。

This rare beauty, features a AAAA killer Top, 3.82kg/8.42lb light weight body, Indian Rosewood fingerboard, Custombucker Alnico III (Unpotted) pickups, Luxe Bumblebees caps with new wiring harness, sounds great and looks vintage! Of course, it's next to impossible to find genuine '50s PAFs (even for Gibson). Instead, the Custom Shop 60th Anniversary 1959 Les Paul Standard VOS sports a pair of Gibson's CustomBucker humbuckers.
