SG是Gibson於1960/61年續Les Paul後的全新型號，旨在以更輕巧的琴身、不同的琴頸與Fender競爭，而Neck Tenon也經過改良，比起50年代的Les Paul更不易斷裂，雙牛角的特殊造型，更使SG推出後迅速風靡搖滾界，直到如今SG都是Gibson非常經典的型號之一。
這是一支具有歷史意義的SG，1964元年SG Standard，經典的Heritage Cherry櫻桃色，琴身為超過六十年的Mahogany老桃花心木，搭配1964年的Medium "C" Neck Profile琴頸、Brazilian Rosewood巴西玫瑰木指板、原始的ABR Bridge琴橋與Maestro Vibrola，拾音器為原始的PAT拾音器(Patent Number Pickups)，PAT構造與1950年末的PAF類似，之所以稱為PAT差別在於1961年Gibson雙線圈已取得專利號，所以拾音器後方會有著Patent No 2,737,842的專印號貼紙。吉他已被翻新過，漆面與金屬零件相當乾淨，沒有琴頸的裂縫或修復，所有的配件也幾乎都是原始的，包括電路室中的Pots與電容、甚至連Fret都沒有更換過，目前要在市場上找到如此狀態的60年代SG是非常難得的，有興趣的玩家們把握機會。

The SG is a brand-new model introduced by Gibson in 1960/61 following the Les Paul, designed to compete with Fender with its lighter body and different neck. The improved Neck Tenon makes it less prone to breakage compared to the Les Pauls of the 1950s. Its distinctive double-cutaway shape quickly became a sensation in the rock world, and to this day, the SG remains one of Gibson's most iconic models.
This particular SG has significant historical value: a 1964 original SG Standard in the classic Heritage Cherry color. The body is made of over 60-year-old mahogany, featuring a 1964 Medium "C" Neck Profile, a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, the original ABR bridge and Maestro Vibrola, and the original PAT pickups (Patent Number Pickups). The PAT design is similar to the late 1950s PAF, but the difference lies in the patent number sticker (Patent No 2,737,842) on the back of the pickups, indicating Gibson had obtained the patent for their humbuckers by 1961.
The guitar has been refurbished, the finish and metal parts are very clean, with no neck cracks or repairs. Most of the components are original, including the pots and capacitors in the control cavity, and even the frets have not been replaced. Finding a 1960s SG in such condition on the market is extremely rare, so interested players should seize this opportunity.
